North Mississippi Family Photographer | Mini Sessions

This is the first post of something new I’m doing… mini sessions.  I’m going to be adding more of these mini sessions into my calendar next year for sure.  My interest in doing mini sessions originated with a desire to raise money for a missionary friend working with Women of Hope International.  Here is a brief summary of what this ministry is all about (and I took this straight from their website):

Women of Hope International is a Christian humanitarian organization that promotes the transformation of Sierra Leonean women with disabilities, and their families, so that they may reach their fullest potential – spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and economically.

I shot these with permission on the beautiful Nesbit Blueberry Plantation.  My family has been picking blueberries there every summer for the past 7 years!  This post is from the very first session of the day… 8am!  I usually never photograph families at first light.  But, it was absolutely stunning.  The light, the colors, the family… and they were such troopers too because it was a bit frosty!
