Bugs, my baby boy, and the playground

I had my youngest all to myself.  The two bigger kids started school and I had one week to go before I started back to nursing school.  The world was ours to explore.  Well, we mainly explored around the proximity of our home, but still, there is alot to see if you look close enough.

p.s- these are all taken with my little, bitty point and shoot.  It’s a Canon SD600 Elph, only 6 megapixels, and I’ve had it for about 7 years. My husband originally got it for me to take on outings with Sierra, so I wouldn’t have to lug my big and  heavy equiptment around.  I have used it on so many school field trips that I’ve lost count.  It has also been dropped so many times that I’ve lost count.  But it’s still rocking out some images!

The Three Amigos

Well, they act like friends… sometimes.

My friend has this amazing driveway lined with crepe myrtles that are a brilliant fushia color.  I took these a couple Saturdays ago and I only got about 15 minutes from them- it was so HOT that afternoon.  I have ideas in my mind for next summer at this spot!

My kids… I love them.

Memphis Family Photographer | On the Green

Here are some images from a session I shot several weeks back, just before my husband and I left town for Ecuador.  The Shafer Family are friends of ours and Heidi’s whole family was in town… it was a joy to meet her mom and her brothers and sister, and their families!  Such a sweet family!
