“The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1 When I first started photographing, I was always drawn to landscapes. I was intrigued by the way light played on particular parts of the whole, making something otherwise ordinary become something extraordinary. I find myself equally interested in photographing people now, if not more so, but landscapes will always hold a special place in my heart. It is in the middle of the woods where I feel like I am most walking in the presence of the Lord and that He is showing me these tiny secret spaces of His handiwork. Even in the Rain/ Isaac at 9 months

So, it was raining, again, on the day of our planned session. I called Susan just to touch base and make sure they were still a go for the shoot, which would have to be inside now, but as I hung up, I had a great idea….all a rainy day needs is some umbrellas!! I’m so glad Susan and Chasen were up to do this, as it was cold, wet and still drizzling rain, but, through this experience I have learned that most every occasion is a great occasion to shoot. You just have to embrace whatever the day brings. I love the umbrella images! Thank you Susan, Chasen and Isaac for being such great sports! I had a great time with your family.

The McClure Family

Mom McClure wanted some family images, so family images she got! Plus, her eldest son, Ethan, is a senior!! So we had to get some portraits of just him to celebrate this occasion.
